Zenas T. Dowling, Jr.

Zenas Thomas Dowling, Jr., 57, of Eufaula passed away on November 4, 2019 at his home. Junior was born on November 28, 1961 in Kansas City, MO to Zenas Thomas and Evelyn Jean (Deere) Dowling. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1977. Junior attended Okmulgee Tech, where he received an Electrician Degree. In November 1982, on Thanksgiving Day, he married Sandy Yvonne Scott. They were happily married for thirty-seven years. Junior worked in the oilfield as a floor hand and wood cutter. He was of the Big Arbor Baptist Church faith. Junior loved his chickens, fishing, and playing horse-shoes. Survivors include: his wife, Sandy Dowling, of the home; sons: John Dowling and wife, Ashley, of Ft. Gibson, OK; Parnell Dowling and wife, Loretta Cliffton, of Eufaula, OK; daughters: Rosemary Dowling and husband, Ervin Smith; Denise Thompson and husband, Jason; Felicia Dowling; and Rebecca French and husband, Timothy, all of Eufaula, OK; thirteen grandchildren: Stormie Dowling, Alexis Dowling, Hailee Dowling, Alayna French, Reuben Higgins, Zoey Thompson, Kalvin Higgins, Nala Cliffton, Riley Dowling, Zaden Dowling, Dylon French, Zenas Dowling, and Russell Dowling; one great grandchild, Mariana; brothers: Robert Dowling and wife, Lynn, of Checotah, OK; William Dowling, Thomas Dowling, both of Eufaula, OK; and sister, Sandy Herndon, of Eufaula, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents, Zenas Thomas Dowling and Evelyn Deere Dowling; brothers: Charles Dowling and Bill Rice; and sister, Jewell Dowling.
