Wilma Mae Marks, 99, of Eufaula passed away Jan 15, 2020 in the Eufaula Nursing Home. She was born Oct 8, 1920 in Springfield, Baca County, Colorado, USA., the daughter of John Milton Watkins and Anna Shultz. Wilma married Louis Calvin Lanham Sept 11, 1942 in Woodward, Oklahoma. Born to this union were Suetta Mae, Donald Ray “Willie”, and Sharon Kay Lanham. Wilma was a homemaker. She was very good with her hands as a seamstress, she made clothes and belts for her children. She enjoyed making crafts such as canvas needlepoint…tissue box covers, and whirly gigs. Louis and Wilma lived in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the time of his death in Sept 1981. In 1983, Wilma married Joseph “Joe” Stephen Marks, they resided in Duncan, Oklahoma. Joe Marks passed away in Oct 1986. Wilma enjoyed many years of traveling in her RV. Wilma later lived near her daughter, Sue, in Eufaula, until she moved into the care of Eufaula Nursing Home. Wilma was predeceased by her parents; her daughters, Sharon Lanham and Suetta “Sue” Shroyer, stepdaughter, Rena Schoenhals; her stepsons; Milton, Charles, and Floyd Lanham; sister, Alma Weidner, 3 brothers; James “Jim”, Charles Frederic “Buster”, and Floyd Watkins. Those left behind to honor her memory are: a son, Donald Ray “Willie” Lanham, California; son-in-law, James Gross, Eufaula; grandson, Darren Everett, Illinois; great-grandchildren: Christian (Megan) Pratt, O’Fallon, Missouri; Dillon Pratt and Kylee Pratt, Saint Jacob, Illinois; stepdaughter, Deloris (Wayne) Daugherty, Arapaho; stepdaughter-in-law, Darlene Lanham, Vici; and 13 step grandchildren.
