Wilma Lee Young

Wilma Lee (Duncan) Young, 82, of Eufaula, passed away on July 31, 2018 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Wilma was born on June 12, 1936 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Rufus Mason and Laura (Baker) Duncan. She graduated from Dibble High School in 1954. On June 30, 1954, Wilma married William Edgar Young. Jr., who preceded her in death on June 12, 1994. They were happily married for almost forty years. She was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church in Eufaula. Survivors include: her brother in-law, Charles Young and wife, Thelma, of Eufaula, OK; sister in-law, Janice Ellis and husband, George, of Tuttle, OK; nephews: Manuel Wright, of San Diego, CA and Vernon Wright, of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Laura Duncan; her loving husband of forty years, William E. Young, Jr.; sister, Geraldine Bankston, brothers: Walter Pierce Duncan, Roy Duncan, Charley Duncan, and Martin Wayne Duncan; and sister, Rubie Johnson and her husband, Buddy.
