Wilma F. Harjo-Pittman

Wilma Flourine Harjo-Pittman, 83, of Lenna, passed away on March 21, 2018 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Wilma was born on June 28, 1934 in Lenna, Oklahoma to Simon and Irene Ogden Burdine. She graduated from Stidham High School on May 13, 1954. On August 27, 1957, Wilma married Johnnie Lewis Harjo, who preceded her in death on January 14, 1962. They were happily married for five years and had two children together. She worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home from 1972 to 2002. On February 7, 1976,Wilma married Lincoln Pittman, who preceded her in death on November 19, 1989. They were married for thirteen years. She was a member of the Eufaula Church of Christ. Wilma loved to garden and grow flowers, cut wood, check cattle, and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include: her son, Mark Harjo and wife, Carolyn, of Eufaula, OK; one brother, John Carl Burdine, of Lenna, OK; two grandchildren: Nichole Adcock and husband, Cory, of Stigler, OK; and Shane Harjo and wife, Rachael, of Stidham, OK; and six great grandchildren: Luke and Amberly Adcock; and Olivia, Sydney, Ashtyn, and Levi Harjo. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Odgen Burdine; father, Simon Burdine; daughter, Denise Lynn Harjo; and an infant brother.
