Wilma Doris Willis

Wilma "Doris" Stewart Willis, 81, of Eufaula, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at her home. Doris was born on March 30, 1934, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma the daughter of Marion Leroy and Susie Juanita (Wickett) Stewart. She graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1952 and then attended Northeastern State College in Tahlequah. On September 1, 1954, Doris married Richard T. "Dick" Willis. They were happily married for 52 years. She worked as an executive secretary for the Corps of Engineers during the construction of the dam. She also worked as a nursing home administrator. Doris was a member of the Eufaula First Baptist Church. Survivors include: her daughters, JoNita Anne Willis Duell and Nancy Marie Willis Mouser; six grandchildren, Spencer, Tyler, Eli, Samantha, Jeremy and Amy, and sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard T. "Dick" Willis in 2007 and a great granddaughter Sierra Burns in 2012.
