William T. Harrell

William Terrence Harrell, 53, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021, at his home. William was born on January 1, 1968, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Richard Carol, Sr. and Mildred Faye (Treat) Harrell. He graduated from Union High School where he played varsity football. He attended the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and Cameron University. In 1988, William enlisted in the United States Army and service in the Gulf War. While serving, William earned several awards including the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Marksman and Grenade Expert. He was honorably discharged in 1992. He then joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard. William attended NSU in Broken Arrow. He was a lifelong member of the NRA. Survivors include his brothers, Richard C. Harrell, Jr. and Michael D. Harrell. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard C. Harrell and Mildred F. Treat and his grandparents, Bonnie Treat and Goldman Treat.
