William "Junior" Bunyan Sanford

William "Junior" Bunyan Sanford, Jr., 74, of Eufaula passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at the McAlester Regional Medical Center. Junior was born on January 8, 1941, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the son of William Bunyan Sr. and Leona (Hanley) Sanford. He married Freda Hurlocher. She preceded him in death in 1993 after thirty years of marriage. Junior worked as a dishwasher and cook in the food service industry working for the Fountainhead Lodge and Papa J"s. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include: his sons, Chester & Colleen Sanford of South Carolina and Adam & Katica Sanford of California; his daughters, Tammy & Donnie Overson of South Carolina and Rozanna & Daniel Mizell of South Carolina; two sisters Jean Herron of South Carolina and Shirley Hammond of South Carolina; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; his extended family, Ray & Pat Neuenschwander of Eufaula; Amanda, Luther & LJ Cauthon of Eufaula and Channy, Sheila & Colton Keidel also of Eufaula. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sisters and four brothers.
