William Grady Sandifer

July 20, 1931 — March 24, 2014

Grady was born on July 20, 1931 in Liberty, Mississippi to Hansford and Alma Lilly Sandifer. He enlisted in the United States Army, serving during The Punch Bowl Korean War. Grady was happily married to Judy (Reid) Sandifer for over fifty years. He worked as police patrol for the Torrance Police Department in California for over ten years. Grady also worked for thirty years as security officer for LockHeed, before retiring. In 1994, he moved to Eufaula. Grady was active in the Arrowhead Estates Fire Department. He was a member of the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodges in Eufaula and Indianola. Grady was a member of the Canadian Methodist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Judy, of the home; brothers: Hans Sandifer; Jerry Gremillion and wife, Becky, all of Louisiana; brother in-law, James "Bud" Reid and wife, Judy, of Alabama; and sister in-law, June Addy, of Eufaula, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, P.L. Sandifer.
