William "Bill" Franklin Sheffield, 87, of Stigler, passed away on April 4, 2018. Bill was born on December 5, 1930 to Willie and Fannie Irene (Smith) Sheffield. He worked at Durant Feed Mill for several years. Bill married Ruby Mae Toombs on September 30, 1964 in Sherman, Texas. They were happily married for fifty-four years. He also worked as a self-employed tree digger and hauled off junk metal. Bill loved to pick his guitar and fish. Survivors include: his wife, Ruby, of the home; sons: Ronnie Dean Sheffield, of Durant; Olen Dewayne Farrell, of Lone Grove; Ruel Edward Farrell, of Antlers; and Harvey Lynn Farrell, of Tupelo; daughters: Sharon Kaye Garcia, of McComb; Patricia Ann Parker, of Pink; Vickie Lynn Branch, of Denison, TX; Shirley Louise Kelsey, of Tupelo; Rebecca Sue Murr, of Seminole; Barbara Lou Wolfe, of Stigler; Doris Mae Young, of Beaver Mountain; Loretta Lynn Williams, of Colbert; Judy Kay Bond, of Allen; and Regina Ann Sheffield, of Holdenville; brothers: Virgil, Jerry, Gary, Alvin, Billy, and Travis; sisters: Wanda, Lottie, and Patsy; and a host of grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Hattie; and daughter, Ruby Faye.
