William "Bill" J. Andrus

William John "Bill" Andrus, 80, of Eufaula, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020, at his home. Bill was born on December 12, 1939, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Clayton Sherman and Marjorie Andrus. Bill was a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving in the United States Navy from 1960 - 1964 and Army from 1964 - 1973. He was 100% non-working disabled and proud of it. He was a mechanic and a cross country truck driver and retired from Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Bill married Alice Ann White on May 30th in Fort Smith, Arkansas. They were together for 45 years. Bill enjoyed riding horses, eating out and socializing. Survivors include: his wife, Alice, of the home; his daughters, Carrie Moore and husband Matt and Amanda Henley and husband Rob; his brothers, Richard, Ronald, and Robert Andrus and his half-brothers, Gerald, Sherman "Eddy' and David; his sisters, Sandra Krontz and Carolyn Burke and his half sisters, Sheila and Joann Webb. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Alissa, Clayton, Griffin, Austin, Cooper, and Robert. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Bonnie Fletcher, Mildred Hyatt, Constance Andrus, Ruth McGary and Clayton "Junior".
