Wilder Lee Franks, 90, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Friday July 24, 2020, at the McAlester Nursing Center. Wilder was born on November 28, 1931, in Haileyville, Alabama, the daughter of Troy Milton and Flora Lucille (Hood) Hulsey. She attended school in Alabama. Wilder was married to Hubert Ellis Franks for over forty years. She worked at Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart and Charlie's Drive In. While living in California, Wilder worked at a turkey ranch/hatchery and worked as a waitress for several years. She lived in Eufaula for over twenty-five years. Wilder enjoyed canning food, fishing and being at home. Survivors include: her sons, Daniel Franks of Eufaula; Milton Franks and wife Joyce of California City, CA, Steve Franks of Boron, CA and Whitey White and wife Janet of Las Vegas, NV; her sister, June Hulsey of Huntsville, AL and daughter-in-law, Mona Franks of McGregor, TX; nineteen grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Gary Franks, two grandchildren, Betty Lavon Franks and Stevie Franks and her siblings, Virginia Ginn, Sue Englett, Bobby Hulsey, David Hulsey, Billy Hulsey and Sharon Jones.
