Wilburn was born on July 22, 1936 in Mellette, Oklahoma to John Franklin and Garnet Hazel (Campbell) Flud. He attended school at Eufaula. Wilburn loved to farm. His father would even check him out of school for him to help farm. On October 8, 1957, Wilburn married Betty L. McAdoo. They were happily married for fifty-eight years. He worked at Unit Parts for sixteen years. Wilburn also worked in the coal mine for over twenty years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and working in his garden. Wilburn especially loved spending time with his grandkids. He was a devoted family man. Survivors include: his wife, Betty, of the home; three grandsons: Jason Black and wife, Mindy, of Oklahoma City, OK; Jeremy Black and wife, Jamie, of Yukon, OK; and Tyler Black and wife, Krystal, of Bridge Creek, OK; four great grandchildren: Xavier Black, Addison Black, Colton Black, and Caleigh Black; brother, Charles Flud and wife, Marilyn, of Pryor, OK; three sisters: Betty Jean Parson, of Broken Arrow, OK; Verona Burns and husband, Eber, of Henryetta, OK; and Pat Jones and husband, Allen, of Inola, OK; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Johnny and Becky Hopkins, who the family would like to give a special thanks for all their help. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Henson; brothers: Kenneth, Roy, Hugh Wayne, Douglas, and Jerry; and sisters: Sharron Larson and Mary Hopkins.
