Wanda Odessa Smith

Wanda Odessa Smith, 87, of Longtown, passed away on February 13, 2021 at the Fountainview Manor in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Wanda was born on June 25, 1933 in Russellville, Oklahoma to James Dawson and Chloe Leona (Elam) Pearce. She graduated from Canadian High School. On May 5, 1951, Wanda married Elmer Smith in Eufaula, Oklahoma. They were happily married for fifty-nine years and raised three children together, before he preceded her in death on April 22, 2010. Wanda was a member of the Longtown Full Gospel Church. Survivors include: two sons: Gerald Smith and James Smith; one daughter, Debra (Smith) Fretwell; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Oleta Moreno. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Chloe Pearce; husband, Elmer Smith; and one grandson, Darrell Fretwell.
