Wanda Lee Eckhardt

Wanda was born on October 3, 1942 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Everette and Jewell (Shepard) Turnbull. She received her Bachelor"s Degree in Nursing. On May 8, 1976 Wanda married Peter Eckhardt in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They were happily married for over thirty-nine years. She moved from Muskogee to the Checotah area in 1994. Wanda worked as an RN in Muskogee until 1996. She was of the Baptist faith. Wanda loved to play golf. Survivors include: her husband, Pete, of the home; son, Jerry Wayne Archer, of Tahlequah, OK; step-daughter, Brooke Eckhardt Lee, of Davenport, IA; brother, Everette "Jr." Turnbull and wife, Pat, of Ft. Worth, TX; and two nieces: Debbie and Tammy. She is preceded in death by her parents: Everette and Jewell Turnbull.
