Virginia Mae Ginn, 85, of Quinton, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the St John Medical Center. Virginia was born on November 10, 1929, in Haleyville, Alabama, the daughter of Troy and Flora Lucile (Hood) Hulsey. She attended school at McAlester and then attended Connors College. She worked as a nurse at the St. Mary"s Hospital in McAlester for twenty years. In 1970, Virginia married Marvin Marion Ginn in McAlester. They were happily married for forty-six years. She helped Marvin read gas wells for four years. Virginia retired as a school cook for Quinton Public Schools. She was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include: her husband, Marvin, of the home; her daughter, Janice Durham of Quinton, her sons, David Dugger and wife Pam of Corinth, Texas and Shannon Ginn of McAlester, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Jamie, Amber, Megan, Chris, Marvin and Shelby and her great grandchildren, Alex, Drew, Cole, Mason and Blaine. She is also survived by her sisters Sue Stanton and Wilder Leady Franks both of Quinton; and June Stoner, of Madison, Alabama. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, David, Billy and Bobby; a sister, Nita and one great grandchild, Kaydence.
