Victoria Salcedo, 18, of Eufaula, passed away on October 8, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Victoria was born on April 3, 1999 to Victor Jr. and Joy (Edwards) Salcedo. She attended Joyful Day Preschool at the First Baptist Church. She then attended Kindergarten and first grade at Indianola. She was currently attending Eufaula Public Schools where she was a senior. Victoria found happiness and beauty in the blessings most people take for granted. She always stopped and took time to appreciate sunrises, sunsets, and full moons. She would rather spend time with her family than do anything else. She looked for something kind to say to everybody she met and she honestly meant every compliment she gave. She loved to cook and plant flowers, and she believed you could never over use "I love you." She was too good for this world: too innocent, too kindhearted, too trusting. As we wept here, she ran through the gates of Heaven free of needles, MRIs, and over 6 medicines a day. We look forward to the day that we arrive at Heaven's Gate knowing she will be there waiting for us and saying, "I sure missed you". We should all aspire to be more like her every day. Survivors include: her parents, Victor and Joy Salcedo, of the home; one sister, Hope Salcedo, of the home; maternal grandparents, Dan & Susan Edwards, of Eufaula, OK; maternal great grandmother, Anna Mae Edwards; paternal grandfather, Victor Salcedo, Sr., of Siloam Springs, AR; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Beatriz Salcedo; her maternal great grandmother, Melva Joy Best and her maternal great grandfather TC Edwards. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
