Vernon Harold Davis

Vernon Harold Davis, 71, of Haileyville, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019, at his home. Vernon was born on April 8, 1947, in Peggs, Oklahoma the son of Vernon Earl and Nadine (Nutt) Davis. He enlisted in the United States Army on April 22, 1969, serving in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on May 1, 1970. Survivors include: his son, Chad Davis; his grandson, Dakota Davis of Mississippi and his granddaughters Deidra and Destiny Davis of Oklahoma; his brothers, Roy Lee Davis of Oklahoma City and Michael Davis of Checotah. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Harolynn Rhae and his sisters, Mary Ann Phillips and Brenda Farmer.
