Verna Louise Hart

Verna Louise Hart, 80, of Checotah, passed away on November 21, 2013 at the Checotah Nursing Center. Verna was born on June 14, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa to Clark Harold and Margaret Helen (Bumgarner) Cade. On January 17, 1949, she married Ralph Hart. They were happily married for over sixty-four years. Survivors include: her husband, Ralph Hart, of Checotah; two sons: Jack Hart, of Des Moines, IA; Jesse Hart, of Ft. Worth, TX; two daughters: Susan Hart, of Selenis, CA; Linda Hart Uttley, of Bel Vista, AR; one sister, Nona Cade Wessols, of Strawberry Point, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Margaret Cade; one infant sister, Mary Lou Cade; and one grandson, Cory Hart.
