Travis Glenn Wroten

Travis Glenn Wroten, 77, of Eufaula passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at his home. Travis was born on October 9, 1936, in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of Eugene and Mildred (Neville) Wroten. He graduated from Central High School. After high school Travis attended the University of Arkansas and later Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. Travis married Leona in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 1963. He then married Vickie Willingham on April 20, 1976 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were happily married for thirty-eight years. Travis worked as an insurance claims manager for Farmers, Allstate, and Farmers & Ranchers formerly Oklahoma Farmers Union. He attended the Eufaula First Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Vickie, of the home; sons, Tommy Wroten of Tulsa, Ronald Wroten and wife Kimberly of Sapulpa, Daniel Wroten and wife Amy of Glenpool and Mike Dobson and wife Tiffany of Bristow; his sisters, Alice Haynes and Laree Malone of Broken Arrow; fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
