Thomas McIntosh, Jr., 92, of Stidham, passed away on August 14, 2016 in Okemah, Oklahoma. Thomas was born on September 15, 1923 in Stidham, Oklahoma to Thomas Sr. and Susan (Island) McIntosh. He graduated from Stidham High School in 1941. Thomas received his welding training at Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas. He served in the United States Navy in the Pacific Islands as a shipfitter from December 29, 1943 to January 5, 1946, during World War II. On February 14, 1946, Thomas married Neoma Lee Williams, who preceded him in death on December 12, 2009. They were happily married for sixty-three years. He was a member of Pipeliner"s Local Union 798 for fifty-eight years, working in thirty states including Alaska, Venezuela, Pakistan, and the Gulf of Mexico. Thomas was also one of the original Creek Nation Council Members, serving twenty-four years as Representative for McIntosh District. He was a member of the Big Arbor Indian Baptist Church. Thomas was an avid sports fan. He loved all sports. Thomas especially enjoyed watching his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Survivors include: sons: Dr. Stanley McIntosh and wife, Vicki; Dr. Roley McIntosh and wife, Debbie; Tom Stacy McIntosh and wife, Vicki; daughters: Rosemary Price; Rebecca Harris and husband, Richard; grandsons: Wade Jennings; Spencer McIntosh and wife, Nikki; Tyler McIntosh; Eli McIntosh and wife, Tasha; Paul McIntosh and wife, Hallie; Thomas R. McIntosh; Ben Harris; and Christian McIntosh and fiancé, Kelci; granddaughters: Jana Kuehne and husband, Allan; Olivia McIntosh; Leah Jack and husband, Robby; Natalie Jerez and husband, Chris; Cynthia Billy and husband, Nathan; Elizabeth Day and husband, Mitch; Lauren Deatherage and husband, Cody; Karissa McIntosh; Samantha McIntosh; and Makenzie McIntosh; great grandchildren: Wyatt, Tailynn, Alexandria, and Westin Jennings; Robert, Jackson, and Grant Jerez; Jeffrey C., Scarlet, and Juliet McIntosh; Solomon, Victoria, Thatcher, and Gates Jack; Nacona Tahdooahnippah, Helena, Joseph, and Sophia Billy; Jeffrey, Noah, Raley, and Avery McIntosh; Tyra, Dasyn, and Jilyene McIntosh; Diana and Isaac McIntosh; Emma and Dawson Day; Evelyn and Luke Deatherage; Ethan McIntosh; Madilyn and Rance Fulton; and Baby Boy McIntosh due in December; sisters in-law: Hazel McIntosh, Louise McIntosh, and Barbara Dixon; brothers in-law, JD Williams and wife, Bonnie; Jerry Williams and wife, Susie; Danny Williams and wife, Carrie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Thomas Sr. and Susan McIntosh; wife, Neoma; brothers: Boney, Ralph, Bunnie, Sandy, and Felix; four sisters: Jennie Mae Brasuell, Ellen Shutta, Lahoma Whitson, and Chaneya McIntosh; son in-law, Robert Price; brothers in-law: Burl Brasuell, Johnny Whitson, Abe Shutta, and Leon Dixon; sister in-law, Ethel McIntosh.
