Thomas Dewayne Dowling

Thomas was born on June 13, 1952, in Mellette, Oklahoma, the son of Weston Dennis and Carrie Lou (Burns) Dowling. He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1970. After graduation Thomas joined the Oklahoma National Guard and served during the McAlester riot. On April 21, 1973, Thomas married Gata Lois Anderson in Eufaula. She preceded him in death on January 11, 2016. Thomas worked as a rural postal carrier. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Eufaula Church. Survivors include: his son, Andrew Scott Dowling and wife Summer Lynn of Eufaula; his daughter, Tommie Arlinda Upton and husband Jamie of Eufaula; his grandchildren, Larissa Upton, Caleb Upton, Scott Dowling and Blake Dowling; his brothers, Billy Lynn Dowling and wife Marjorie of Tahlequah and Gary Paul Dowling and wife Vera of Porum; his sisters, Lela Simco and husband Elmer of Canadian and Lena Darlene Dowling. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gata, his brother, Ralph Dowling and his sisters, Sandra Kay Dowling and Vivian Denise Dowling.
