Thomas Allen Foresee, 70, of Eufaula, passed away on January 11, 2020 at his home. Tom was born on September 19, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to T.G. "Red" and Bennie Dean (Tillman) Foresee. Tom was married to Dayna Clawson for thirty-nine years. He and his sister, Kathy Foresee Turner, co-owned and operated Foresee Ready Mix in Eufaula. Red Foresee formed the Foresee Construction Company in 1947. The company constructed bridges and culverts all over the state. When the Eufaula dam was getting started and Highway 69 was being relocated, Foresee subcontracted some of the work and brought the company to the Eufaula area. After the dam was completed, the city of Eufaula realized the need for Foresee's services and the President of the Chamber of Commerce invited and requested the Foresees to make their home in Eufaula in 1960. Thomas grew up around the business most of his life and traveled and worked with his father during the summers. Thomas graduated from Eufaula High School in 1968. He attended Okmulgee State Tech and graduated in 1970 with an Associates Degree in Concrete Technology and joined the family business full time. Foresee Ready Mix was an active part in the growth of Eufaula around the lake. After losing both parents, Red in 1984 and Bennie in 2002, Thomas and Kathy continued the business and by 2015 the company had expanded from a three truck company to a twenty-two truck company delivering concrete, septic tanks, and storm cellars around the Eufaula area and surrounding communities. Each of Tom's children worked at the company during high school and college, and Tom's son Jeremy joined the company full-time in 2014. The family recently sold the business in April 2019 and Tom retired spending his last months surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending his summers out on the lake with family and friends, teaching his children how to ski and drive the boat. He was a devoted father and Poppy to his grandchildren. He always had an abundant supply of Reese Cups and Double Bubble to spoil his grandbabies with. Thomas was an active member of the community, supporter of Eufaula Public Schools, and a proud member of the Eufaula Class of 1968. Tom was a member of the Eufaula First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Eufaula Masonic Lodge #1, a 32nd Degree Master Mason and also served as Worshipful Master and Jester. Tom was also a member of the Shriner's and Scottish Rite. He was a member of the Lions Club, where he served as President from 1990 - 1991. He was also a member of the Eufaula Area Chamber of Commerce. Tom was a member and President of the Oklahoma Ready Mixed Concrete Association in 1993-1994. He was a volunteer firefighter for the City of Eufaula from 1977 - 2006 and served as Fire Chief for ten years. Eufaula Fire Department was an important part of Tom's life and he considered each of them like a brother. Survivors include: his son, Thomas J.
