Thelma Lee Young

Thelma Young,82, of Eufaula, passed on July 31, 2019 at her home. Thelma was born on August 5, 1936 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma to Miles Henry and Effie Mae (Stewart) Asbill. She graduated from Sallisaw High School. Thelma married Charles Edward Young on July 30, 1955 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She died one day after celebrating their 64th year wedding anniversary. Thelma was a member of the Eufaula First Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Charles Young, of the home; sons: Charles Miles Young and Chris Duane Young; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clebborn and Donald Asbill; and two sisters: Hazel Asbill Yochum and Burnadean Asbill Walters.
