William "Ted" Theodore Slick, III, 56, of Eufaula, passed away on October 11, 2021 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ted was born on December 11, 1964 in Arkansas. In 1982, he graduated from Carl Albert High School in Midwest City. Ted attended Spartan College of Aeronautics. In his earlier years, he worked at his mom's printing company, Decar Printing. Ted really loved being a truck driver and training others to drive. He worked at USA Truck Company for eighteen years and received the No Wrecks Safety Driving Award. He went on to drive for Flea Flicker Trucking and then finished his career out working with his nephew at RedStone Contracting. He was a member of the Eufaula First Church of Nazarene. Ted enjoyed spending time with family, playing video games with his nephews and niece, and riding his Can-Am. He never failed a family member and was always there when needed. Survivors include: brother, Johnny Johnson and wife, Hayley, of Eufaula; sisters: Michelle Powell and husband, Rodney, of Eufaula; and Melinda Johnson, of California; niece, Tayler Powell, of Florida; nephews: Daxton Powell and wife, Heather, of Edmond; Dakota Powell and wife, Peyton, of Oklahoma City; and Hunter Powell, of Eufaula; aunt, Irene Hannah, of Del City; and cousins: Connie Shade, Kathy Crouse and her children: Amanda and Ross Crouse, and Harley and Diann Fancher. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Martha Johnson.
