On Monday July 5th, 1976, a beautiful soul was brought into this world. On Saturday December 22nd, 2018, that soul left far before her time. Our beloved Tara was a bright light that left an impact with anybody she came into contact with. She was full of life, laughter, jokes, and a beautiful big smile that was infectious. Nothing can hold you back now Tara Leigh, fly high and far and those who loved you most, will keep your memory alive and close to our hearts. Tara Leigh (McIntosh) Mitchell, Norman resident, passed away Saturday December 22nd, 2018. She was born July 5th, 1976 in Claremore, OK. Her parents, Charles and Mona (Asbury) McIntosh knew she was special as soon as she came into this world. Tara married Tommy "Bo" Warren Mitchell and had 2 beautiful children together, a girl Kai Leigh Elise Mitchell, and a boy Tommy Warren Mitchell. Following where the jobs would take them, together Tara and her family traveled all over the United States and made many lifelong friends along the way. Of all the places they traveled, she held Arizona deep within her heart. She favored the Southwest and its ability to make every day a good hair day. She loved to cook and play Yahtzee on her phone. But of all the activities she loved doing; she loved to laugh and smile the most, and always tried to live life to the fullest. Tara was preceded in death by her sister, Angela McIntosh; Grandparents Monroe and Virginia Asbury; Luke Sr. and Elizabeth (Scott) McIntosh; and Uncle Monroe "Sonny" Asbury, Jr. She leaves many memories with her family, Bo, Kai Leigh and Tommy; mother Mona McIntosh and partner Debbie Wood; her father Charles McIntosh; her siblings Todd Asbury McIntosh and Christy D"Arcangelo, Daniel McIntosh, David and Jamie McIntosh, and Lace and Casey McIntosh; and many other loving family members and friends.
