Sybil Ellen Rea, 94, of Quinton passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Solara Hospital of Muskogee. Sybil was born on December 27, 1918, in Crosslane, Oklahoma the daughter of Richard and Mary Eunice (Fulsom) Turner. On March 9, 1936, Sybil married Carl Lee Rea in Blocker, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed working with the flowers in her flowerbeds and walking in the rain. She also loved to read. One of her favorite pastimes was looking for couches to redo her house. Sybil got her driver’s license when she turned 64. She was a member of the Blocker Baptist Church. Survivors include: her sons, Kenneth Rea and wife Norma of Stigler, Carl Rea Jr. and wife Betty of Quinton, Tony Rea and wife Linda of Quinton and Joe Rea and wife Brenda of Stigler; her daughters, Mary Gideon and husband Kenneth of Eufaula, Sandra Dugan and husband Loyd of Blocker, Carolyn Spicer and husband Roger of Quinton, Kathy Rogers and husband Archie of Quinton and Vicky Moody and husband W.O. of Quinton; her sister, Billie Sue Francis of California; a special niece, Mary Jo Adams of Shady Point; twenty-four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Sybil is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl, two brothers, Doss and Dwight Turner and a sister, Wanda June Hunt.
