Susie Lee Rankin

Susie Lee Rankin, 85, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Susie was born on June 30, 1931, in Bauxite, Arkansas the daughter of Lawrence Edward and Pearl Tatum. She graduated from Bauxite High School. On March 5, 1949, Susie married J.B. Rankin at the Saline County Court House in Arkansas. They were happily married for sixty-two years. She drove a school bus for six years and was later a homemaker. Susie was a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Beverley Neal, of Council Hill; sister, Vian Johnson, of Benton, AR; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J.B. on September 24, 2011, her son, Dennis Rankin, an infant daughter, Jammie Sue Rankin and a grandson, Bobby Eugene Patteson, two brothers, and one sister.
