Susie Hatley

Susie Hatley, 87, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Home. Susie was born on September 11, 1933, in Stidham, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lonzo R. and Annie (Hawkins) Shivers. She graduated from Stidham Public Schools. On August 31, 1955, Susie married Kendall Hatley in Okmulgee. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1995, after almost forty years of marriage. Susie worked as a home health provider for D.H.S. for over ten years. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church of Texanna Road. Survivors include: her son, Terry W. Hatley and wife Brandi, of Sapulpa; her daughter, Dana Smith and husband Shawn of Eufaula; her sisters, Kathleen Shaver of Eufaula and Lucinda (Cindy) McMinn and husband Brad of Checotah; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Jimmy Wade Hatley and Joel Ray Hatley; a sister, Lorraine Mae Foreman and an infant brother.
