Steven "Pippa" Lee Bentley, 71, of Eufaula, passed away on September 29, 2021 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his family by his side. Steve was born on July 10, 1950 in Anderson, Indiana to Robert and Barbara (Hilligoss) Bentley. He attended school in Anderson, Indiana. Steve enlisted in the United States Marine Corp on February 12, 1968 and was honorably discharged on September 26, 1969. He worked as a hot end supervisor at Brockway Glass in Ada, Oklahoma for over twenty years. Steve later worked at Anchor Glass in Henryetta. On March 27, 1982, he married Brenda Kay Mitchell in Ada, Oklahoma. They were happily married for thirty-nine years. They owned and operated B & M One Stop Convenient Store in Longtown. Steve was a very active member of the Eufaula VFW Post 8798 and a Master Mason and 32nd Degree Mason. He served as a Past Post Commander and District Commander. Steve also was the Grill Master for steak night at the VFW. From 2018 - 2019, Steve was National Deputy Chief of Staff for the Department of Oklahoma. He also helped with the Ladies Auxiliary. Steve served as the #1 Pippa for many years. Survivors include: his wife, Brenda Kay Bentley, and his dog, Barnabus of the home; son, Mathias Bentley and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City; grandson, Dyllan Bentley and Gena Parks of Casa Grande, AZ, great grandson, Rory Bentley Parks and great granddaughter, River Bentley Parks both of Casa Grande, AZ; granddaughter, Lynsey Bentley of Phoenix, AZ; grandson, Joey Kuykendall and wife Amanda of Canadian, OK; great grandsons, Easton and Hunter Kuykendall both of Canadian, OK; granddaughter, Lacy Pitman, of Eufaula, OK; great granddaughter, Rhiannon Oley of Eufaula, OK; granddaughter, Brittany Stickler of McAlester, OK and great grandson, Zaeden Smith of McAlester, OK; daughter, Kristi Willoby and husband Don of Eufaula, OK; granddaughters, Megan Storm and husband Westin of Checotah, OK; great granddaughters, Donn Raye and Della Mae Storm of Checotah, OK; Morgan Chase and husband James of Eufaula, OK; granddog, Everett James Chase; granddaughter Reianna Chase, of Wichita, KS; grandson, Jerrid and wife, Brianna Chase; great granddaughter, Ahri Chase, of Stigler, OK; grandson, Brauck Willoby of Eufaula, OK; daughter, Tammy Horton and husband David of Seminole, OK; grandson, Joshua Burton of Seminole, OK; grandson, Corey Horton and wife Carissa of Seminole, OK; granddaughter, Kaylyn Webb and husband Brett of Seminole, OK; great grandchildren, Kaidence Burton, Kyler Burton, Taegus Tankersley, Raiden Tankersley, Sonnie Horton, Mackenzie Pope, Christian Yahola, Caydence Curtis, Camden Horton, Axton Horton, and Ava Horton. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Mindi Kay Bentley, and grandchild, Keegan Burton.
