Stephanie Faith Yates

Stephanie Faith Yates, 52, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at her home. She was born on December 19, 1968, in Turlock, California, the daughter of Gordon Marlow and Barbara Sue (Thorpe) Yates. She graduated from Quinton High School in 1986. In 2003, she attended Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton where she studied Accounting. Stephanie worked for a dry cleaners for three years. Her grandkids were her world. She loved spoiling them. Stephanie enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and swimming. She loved TikTok. Survivors include: her sons, Kaleb Abshere and wife Amanda of Whitefield, OK, Joshua Abshere of Centerton, AR, and Ethan Abshere and wife Autumn of McAlester, OK: her daughter, Tiffany Michael and husband Rob of Quinton, OK; brother, George Andrew Doctor, Sr.; sister, Rachelle Yates; uncle, Johnny Pemberton of Roland, Aunt, Wilda Powell; cousins, Tami Johnson of Bentonville, AR and Amanda Powell of Longtown; and four grandson, eight granddaughters all between the ages of 11 months and 14 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her cousins, Ricky, Paul and Sandra and her aunts, Betsy Webster and Lola Brunsfield.
