Stacy Emerson Smith

Stacy Lynn Emerson was born on December 8, 1968, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lawanna (Stephens) Emerson and Neal and Kathy Emerson. She graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1987 and received her RN degree from Redlands Community College in El Reno in 1998. Stacy practiced her RN profession in numerous Oklahoma medical facilities including the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, St. Anthony’s Hospital, Epic Medical Center and the DOC medical facilities in El Reno and McAlester. She was currently employed at the Muskogee Regional Hospital. Stacy accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized at the Eastside Freewill Baptist Church. On February 9, 2011, Stacy married Ronald Steven Smith in Eufaula. Survivors include: her husband, Ronnie, of the home; her parents, Lawanna Emerson of Checotah and Neal and Kathy Emerson also of Checotah; her son, Garret Houston Singer Emerson; her daughter, Tashina Janell Emerson; her brothers, Dr. Noel Emerson and wife Saundra of Atoka and Steve Glenn Emerson and wife Danielle of Pierce. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ola and Harold McCombs, Lewis Stephens, her paternal grandparents, Noah and Pocahontas Emerson and one aunt, Reganna Carnes.
