Shirley Nimajean Burgess

Shirley Nima Jean Burgess, 73, of Eufaula, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020, at her home. Shirley was born on May 11, 1946, the daughter of Kenneth Lee and Lois (Rose) Hill. She attended Eufaula Public School. On May 22, 1963, Shirley married Jimmy L. Burgess in McIntosh County. Shirley was a homemaker all of her life. She loved spending time with her family. She was the best wife, mom and grandma any family could have. She enjoyed going to church, playing the piano and collecting. Her family includes: her husband, Jimmy, of the home; her daughter, Tilena Burgess who passed in 2017; her son, Arnold Burgess of Eufaula; her daughter, Pam Burgess of Eufaula; her sister, Stella Fry of Pawhuska; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
