Shawlene Doran Duke

Shawlene Duke, 68, of Eufaula, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shawlene was born on November 5, 1951 in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas to Otto William and Patty Jacqueline (Crain) Schoen. She graduated from Saint Ann High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Shawlene worked as a bookkeeper. On December 16, 2001, she married Eddie Paul Duke at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Eufaula, Oklahoma. They were happily married for eighteen years. Shawlene was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Survivors include: her husband, Eddie Duke, of the home; daughters: Patty Castle and husband, Curtis, of Marion, AR; brother, William "Billy" Otto Schoen and wife, Barbara, of Duncan, OK; grandchildren: Katlyn and husband Dillon Rolland, and Curtis Castle Jr.; and great grandchild: Jaxon Luke. She is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
