Sharon Phillips

Sharon Phillips, 79, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at her home. Sharon was born on October 27, 1941, in Eufaula, the daughter of Walter Langston and Lorene (Jones) Pittman. She graduated from Ceres High School in Ceres, CA with the class of 1961. On September 25, 1959, Sharon married her high school sweetheart, Edward Phillips in Ceres, California. They were married for 62 years. She worked as a teachers aid at Caswell Elementary School for twenty plus years. She and Ed lived in California until they moved to Eufaula, OK in1994. Share was a devoted member of the Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church. She served as an AWANA leader for 11 years at her church. Survivors include: her husband, Ed, of the home; sons, Doug Phillips and wife Debbie and Kirk Phillips; daughter, Shea Dobbs and husband Albert; brother, Lang Pittman; sisters, Iwanna Heelsink and Tonya Beaver; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents.
