Sharon Kay Pearce

Sharon Pearce Sharon Kay Pearce, 75, of Coweta, Oklahoma passed away on Monday January 3, 2022, at her home. Sharon was born on February 17, 1946, in Kinta, Oklahoma to Raleigh Edmond and Vera Angline (Jennings) Shelton. She grew up on Tucker Knob Mountain in Kinta and received her education from Kinta Public Schools. On May 2, 1964, she and Don Pearce were married in Stigler, Oklahoma. They were married for 54 years making their home and raising their family in Coweta, OK. They were blessed with 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren that were her pride and joy. Sharon was of the Baptist faith and was a caregiver by nature as she was always taking care of others. She worked in the medical field as a medication nurse and as a private duty nurse for many years. She loved spending time with her family; working in her flower and vegetable gardens and watching hummingbirds. Sharon is survived by her sons: Marty Pearce and wife, Donna, of Haskell, Oklahoma and Stacey Pearce and wife, Tonya, of Hulbert, Oklahoma; daughters: Deirdre Longoria and husband Anthony of Coweta, Oklahoma and Tanya Powell also of Coweta, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Brittnee Roark and husband Blake; Dexter Powell; Ashley Bomboy and husband Daniel; Lindsey Garrison and husband Wilson; Jake Pearce and wife Nicole; and Keisha Rathbone and husband Tommy; and great-grandchildren: Parker Roark; Chase and Emma Bomboy; Olan, Alton and Elan Garrison, Rylan and Scarlett Pearce; Paige and Riley Rathbone and Chloe Hathcoat. Also sister: Lillian Etter and brothers: Tom Shelton and Joe Shelton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Pearce; grandson, Jason Pearce and granddaughter, Jonna Hathcoat. Also preceding her in death were her parents and 19 siblings.
