Seth David Mortensen

Seth David Mortensen, 36, of Eufaula passed away Thursday, December 21, 2016. Seth was born on July 14, 1980, in McAlester, Oklahoma, the son of David Lynn and Denice Leigh (Sizemore) Mortensen. He was a member of the Faith Temple Church of Checotah. He loved being around his friends. Friends were his life. He enjoyed playing football. He especially loved hunting with his son. He is survived by: his son, Gabriel David Mortensen; his mother, Denice Jarvis of Eufaula; his father, David Mortensen of Zackery, Louisiana; two sisters, Courtney Mortensen of Arlington, Texas and Yvettte Applegarth of Checotah, OK; one brother, Jamon Mortensen of Eufaula, Oklahoma; a dear lifetime friend, Phillip Lunceford and all of the Lunceford Family; his grandmother, Ivonne Wade and husband Wayne of Eufaula; an uncle, Dennis Sizemore of Eufaula and numerous nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jillian Faith Mortensen and a sister, Jillian Renee Mortensen.
