Scott Welch

Scott Allen Welch, 55, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away on November 12, 2024, in Tulsa. Born on January 6, 1969, in Oklahoma City, he was the son of Cecil and Rita Suzzene (Fisher) Welch. 

Scott proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he served in the artillery unit and was promoted to drill sergeant. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to working with the United States Postal Service. Scott had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed activities such as fishing, boating, and golfing. He also had a talent for cooking, and nothing brought him more joy than sharing meals with loved ones. Most notably, he cherished the time spent with his beloved pit bull, Buddy. 

He is survived by his fiancée, Maranell Howell; his biological father, John Graham; his sons, Scott Welch and wife Melinda Mach of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Dillon Welch and wife Ny Tran of Oklahoma City; his bonus children, Jacob Howell, Lily Howell, Jillian Clark, Erika Salgado, and Daniel Howell; and his siblings, including brothers Tommy Welch of McAlester, Mike Welch and wife Carol of Florida, and Roy Welch and wife Carol of Kiowa, along with sisters Katina Apel and husband Paul of St. Louis and Sandy Welch of Kansas. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Enzo Welch, Leon Welch, and Samuel Welch. Scott was preceded in death by his mother and adopted father Rita and Cecil Welch. 

Scott Welch will be remembered for his warm spirit and the love he shared with family and friends.
