Sara Lyn Harris

Sara Lyn Harris, 64, of Eufaula, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at her home. Sara was born on October 15, 1956 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Chester Ralph and Kathryn (Tate) Breedlove. She graduated from Eufaula High School. Sara also attended Connors State College and received her Master's Degree from Northeastern State University. On February 25, 1974, she married Lester Burgess. Sara worked as a counselor in public schools. She married Harley Wayne Harris on February 11, 2002. They were happily married for sixteen years, before he preceded her in death on December 15, 2018. Sara loved to quilt and had quite a collection in her home. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include: her son, James Burgess and wife, Elizabeth, of Roland, OK; daughter, Rebecca Theilen and husband, Brian, of Marshall, OK; sisters: Pamela Johnson and husband, Tommy, of Lane, OK; and Paula Morris and husband, Jay, of Hudson, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Kathryn Breedlove and one brother, Stephen Breedlove.
