Ruth Elaine Henley

Ruth Elaine Henley, 78, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Lakeview Nursing & Rehab Center. Ruth was born on January 23, 1946, in Redding, California, the daughter of Merle Troy and Mary Jane (Henderson) Griffin. On October 20, 1962, Ruth married the love of her life, Bobby Dale Henley, in Modesto, California. They were happily married for 61 years.

Survivors include: her husband, Bobby of the home; son Robert Henley and wife Amanda of Eufaula; daughter Hydie Peyton and husband James of Eufaula; sister, Carol Jean Longdon of Turlock, California; eight grandchildren, Tiffiney Peyton, Briley Peyton, James Peyton Jr., Wyatt Peyton, Clay Henley, Griffin Henley, Cooper Henley and Robert Henley and four great grandchildren, Tucker Henley, Waylon Henley, Hollis Peyton and Elaine Henley. She is preceded in death by her parents Merl and Mary Griffin; brothers, David Lee Griffin and Danny Ray Griffin; sisters, Joyce Cates and Janie Malik and granddaughters, Brook and Briana Peyton.
