Russell Lee Lanham

Russell was born on October 11, 1947 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Audie Laughlin and Byrd Posey (Mitchell). He attended and graduated from Stidham High School in 1966. He worked in the oilfield. In August 1968, Russell married Genevieve Spirlock in Nacoma Park. In June 1991, he married Jaquetta "Jackie" Ann Harper, who preceded him in death on July 13, 2011. Survivors include: his sons: Nubbin Lanham and wife, Michelle, of Shawnee, OK; Boddie Lanham and wife, Maisie, of Eufaula, OK; Cory Ketch and wife, Trenna, of Shawnee, OK; daughters: April Minor and husband, Justin, of Eufaula, OK; Sarah Miller and husband, James, of Shawnee, OK; Cari Pounders and husband, Mark, of Alabama; one brother, Larry Lanham and wife, Delores, of Blanchard, OK; sisters: Virginia Laughlin, of Eufaula, OK; Doris Beaver and husband, Ronald, of Checotah, OK; twelve grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jackie Lanham; two brothers: Bobby Laughlin and Leon Laughlin; and two sisters: Lillie Graham; and Evelyn Sturgeon.
