Ruby Lucille Dix

Lucille was born on January 22, 1924, in Panama, Oklahoma the daughter of Riley E. and Annie Rachel (Bradley) Hickman. She graduated from Panama High School in 1937. She married Edward Brown in 1937. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1961. In June 1965, Lucille married Carrell Muse in Cordell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in January of 1984. Lucille married Carl Dix, in Keota, Oklahoma on June 5, 1992. He preceded her in death in 2005. Lucille was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include: her daughters, Ruby Armstrong of Checotah; Nancy Remus of Broken Arrow and Barbara Hall of Tucson, Arizona; her step-children, Linda Wilson, Darleen Taylor and Tony Dix; her sister, Lyndel Cuban of California; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Bill Brown and his wife Brenda, her husbands, her son-in-law, Doug Hall, her sisters, Lavon Johnson, Lavada Moore, Lualice Victoria and her brother, Charles Hickman.
