Ruby Lorene Jean Brown

Ruby Lorene Jean Brown, 89, of Fort Morgan, Colorado formerly of Eufaula, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011. Ruby was born on September 8, 1921, in Hitchita, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Jerome and Laura Stella (Lane) Brogdon. Ruby was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include: her daughter, Rena Jean Munn; her sisters, Leona Brogdon Duvall and Annie Laura Brogdon Thompson; four grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, J.B., Waldo, James and Fines and a sister, Joquetta. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Hitchita Cemetery in Hitchita, Oklahoma with Chaplain Wendell Cox officiating. Services were under the direction of Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
