Rose Ella Lackey

Rose Ella Lackey, 69, of Eufaula, passed away Saturday, May 03, 2014, at the Eufaula Manor Nursing Center. Rose was born on November 5, 1944, in Bakersfield, California, the daughter of Johnie Houston and Lovica (Quinton) Blackwood. She attended school at Alvin, California. Rose married Charles Edward Lackey. She worked as a seamstress all her life. Survivors include: her husband, Charles, of the home; her mother, Lovica Blackwood of McAlester; her daughter, Alesha Lackey and Royce Dickey of Eufaula; her son, Michael Baker and wife Angie of Eufaula; her brother, John Blackwood and wife Loretta of Bakersfield, CA; her sister, Novella Gliniak of Eufaula nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father in 1995, a daughter, Michelle Edwards on June 13, 2010 and one sister, Willie Toy in May 2003.
