Rosalyn Jo Burgos

Rosalyn Jo Burgos, 80, of Council Hill, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024, in Muskogee. Rosalyn was born on August 18, 1943, in Ankeny, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Elsie Louise (Jasper) Knight. She grew up in Elkhart, Iowa and graduated from high school there. On January 19, 1968, Rosalyn married Gilberto G. Burgos in Sycamore, Illinois. She worked in Sycamore as a nurses aide in obstetrics most of her working life. She and Gilberto resided and raised their family in Illinois until 1996 when they moved the family to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They lived there until 2002 when they decided to move to Oklahoma. Rosalyn loved to play bingo, work puzzles and watch crime shows. She also enjoyed Facebook.

Rosalyn is survived by her son, Mark and his wife Angie. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gilberto, sons, Michael and Brian and two sisters, Virginia Moore and Wilma Clendening.
