Ron Ashcraft, 72, of Eufaula, passed away on September 17, 2019 at his home. Ron was born On June 12, 1947 to Hollis and Josephine (Crawford) Ashcraft. He graduated from Will Rogers High School, Tulsa, Oklahoma,1965. Ron graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1969. He then moved to New York City, where he worked as Saks Fifth Avenue and became the youngest branch store manager in Saks history. Upon his return to Oklahoma in 1982 Ron pursued a Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Northeastern State University and graduated in 1988. At this time, he began his ten (10) year career that specialized in substance abuse programs. Ron and his partner of twenty two years, Bryce McKinney, owned and operated the Tolleson House Caffe and Eufaula Flower Shoppe and Caffe. In 2014, they sold the business to begin traveling. Ron also worked part time at Nichol's Dollar Saver Grocery Store. He enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with his family, friends, and animals. Survivors include: his partner, Bryce McKinney, of the home; two sisters: Cathy Garrison and Beverly Malloy; and one brother, Lewis Ashcraft.
