Rod Kingfisher

Rodney "Rod" Lewis Kingfisher, 54, of Eufaula, passed away on May 17, 2022 at the St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Rod was born on February 2, 1968 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Pete and Sara (Stealer) Kingfisher. He attended Salina High School in Salina, Oklahoma. On July 22, 2005, Rod married Mari Newton. They were happily married for sixteen years. He worked as saw blade manufacturer for HE&M Saw in Pryor. Rod loved to mow. Survivors include: his wife, Mari Kingfisher, of the home; children: Katelynn Miller and husband, JP; Sarah Kingfisher; and Ryder Kingfisher; brothers: Henry and Dennis Kingfisher; sisters: Peggy Payne, Fredia Payne, Roberta Henson, and Donna Sapp; grandchildren: Natalee, Everlee, and Mack. He is preceded in death by his infant son, Tyson; and brothers: Joseph, Larry, and Gary Kingfisher. A celebration of life will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, please bring a dish to share.
