Robert Lynn Satterfield

Robert Lynn Satterfield, 70, of Quinton, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in Wilburton. Robert was born on February 13, 1952, in Quinton, Oklahoma, the son of Junior Doyle and Betty Lou Bookout Satterfield. He lived in Quinton his whole life. He graduated Quinton High School and attended Eastern Oklahoma State College for automotive mechanics. He married Sherry Warren and to this union three children were born. Robert and Sherry were married for twenty-four years. Robert married Diane Svenelid and to this union one child was born. He was married to Angela Carey for twelve years. Robert married Mary Oxford on April 6, 2017. She preceded him in death in January 2022. Robert retired after almost 20 years at Georgia Pacific, but his passion and heart was always in auto body and paint. He ran the Ford Auto Body Shop in Stigler for several years. He loved restoring and customizing old cars and trucks. He was a believer in God and had been saved. He was a member of the Greater Refuge Church. In his free time, Robert enjoyed dancing, and doing odds and ends on the ranch. Survivors include: his sons, James Robert Satterfield and wife Sherry of Enterprise and their daughter, Katie of the home, Marc Satterfield and wife Tiffany of Stigler and their children, Anzlie and Nash of the home, Matthew Satterfield of Quinton and his children, Matthew Jr. and Gracie of Red Oak and Bryleigh of Gowen, step son, Michael Svenelid and wife Stacy of Stigler and their daughter Zoey of the home; daughter, Robin Burgess and husband Charles of Quinton and their children, Lindsey of McAlester, Noah, Jaxon and Cassidy of the home; brother, Dennis Satterfield and wife Nancy of Quinton; sisters, Karen Purdom and husband Rocky of Quinton and Sandra Smith of Checotah; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Betty Satterfield, two wives, Sherry Satterfield and Mary Satterfield and a brother, Lanny Doyle Satterfield.
