Robert L. Mangum

Robert L. Mangum, 66, of Eufaula, Oklahoma went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 18th, 2018 at the Talihina VA Center. Robert was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Luel and Maxine Mangum on November 20th, 1951. He grew up in Oklahoma City where he attended Capital Hill High School. Robert served in the United States Army. Driving was always a passion of Robert's. He loved racing his number 91 race cars and he loved driving trucks on the road. Robert traveled the country building churches and preaching the Lord's gospel. Robert married Mary Tate in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Mary Mangum, of twenty-two years; sons: Michael Mangum, of OKC, OK; and Jeffrey and Amie Beshear, of McAlester, OK; daughters: Sherry Houlette, of OKC, OK; Vilinda Beshear, of Krebs, OK; and Alisha Nye, of Okmulgee, OK; sisters: Terri and Phillip Cross, Linda Blakeney, all of Tulsa, OK; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luel and Maxine Mangum; son, Brent "Bo" Alan Mangum; one sister, Sandra "Peewee" Mangum; and one grandson, Mekhail Isaak Mangum.
