Robert Eugene Stansberry

Robert "Bob" Eugene Stansberry, 88, of Eufaula, passed away on August 13, 2019 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Bob was born on April 10, 1931. He attended Norman High School. Bob also attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He worked on and off for over thirty years for several newspapers. Bob married Marlene Matthews on January 4, 1988. They were happily married for thirty-one years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and deep sea diving. Bob also loved to travel and walk many trails. Survivors include: his wife, Marlene Stansberry, of the home; step son, Brian Keith Laust, of Eufaula; step daughters: Rebecaa Jean Jeffery, of Glenpool; and Kimberly Jo Stoy, of Henryetta; three grandchildren: Tommy Jeffery, Kristin Stevens, and Caleb Laust; and eight great grandchildren: Kalissa Stevens, Katrina Stevens, Kimberly Stevens, Karson Stevens, Karoline Stevens, Kendric Stevens, Jameson Jeffery, and Cadence Jeffery. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Winston, Leonard, and Douglas. Cremation arrangements were made with Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
