Robert Emanuel Allen

Bob was born on May 1, 1931 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Robert Emanuel Sr, and Mary Jane (Fowler) Allen. He attended school at Brazito Grade School and Las Cruces Jr. High in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was married to Hilmer (Lucy) O’Neal for over twenty years. Bob later married Vickie Rae Hoffman in Ft. Smith, Arkansas on May 1, 1969. He owned and operated Allen’s Restaurant on HWY 150 & 40 from 1978 to 1987, The Spur from 1988 to 2000, and Lucky Boys. Bob was a member of the First Assembly God Church in El Paso, Texas. Survivors include: his wife, Vickie, of the home; four sons, Robert Allen, JR., and wife, Sue Allen, of San Antonio, TX; Jerry Allen and wife, Deborah Faye, of Tulsa, OK; Shawn Allen and wife Karen, of Schaumburg, Ill; and Shane Allen, of OKC, OK; four daughters, Thilmer Tartt and husband, Sandy, of Willington, N.C; Jamie Reed and husband, Danny, of Arlington, TX; Sherry Rice, of Muskogee, OK; and Juanita Ellis and husband, J.R., of Eufaula, OK; one brother, Glen Allen, of Truth or Consequences, NM; one sister, Mildred Alexander, of Brazito, NM; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Clifford Allen, Sr.; Albert Allen; and one sister, Precilia Tolley.
